I assumed it was either the fire extinguisher or the flames that did it - but was most likely too much wood- After the 10 minutes there was still a lot of unburnt sawdust left.

Yeah, I think using the barby for it is a great idea.Laura @ Our Wee Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14240391312194055909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31981511.post-57878238486692415592010-11-30T10:53:52.428+13:002010-11-30T10:53:52.428+13:00Oh I laughed! You can also use wood chips soaked in beer, juice or alcohol(rum, bourbon) to give a different flavour. Our little tin for the meths rusted out so now we set the smoker on top of the gas bbq & use the gas. Fantastic. No worries about the wooden table then !!
Your blog is really great & I enjoy reading.
Cheers, Sue from AucklandAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31981511.post-64440754985248181612010-11-30T09:21:47.953+13:002010-11-30T09:21:47.953+13:00We have used that type of smoker sitting on the BB...We have used that type of smoker sitting on the BBQ [and you can use the BBQ burners rather than the little meths pots] Home smoked food tastes so much nicer than bought - try smoking mussels loosened from their shell with a little/lot chilli sauceCarolinenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31981511.post-84674341646306511222010-11-29T21:50:29.710+13:002010-11-29T21:50:29.710+13:00Hey there wonderful that you're truthful!
