I don't know if I could bring myself to crack such lovely eggs. They are beautiful....then again I could just leave them in front of Master M and turn my back. He'd have no problem breaking them all.
Greetings from Montreal, Canada. Love the colours. It must be great to have REALLY fresh eggs like this. Being in the city I get my eggs from the grocery store...they are fresh, but not as fresh as these. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Caroline, I dont! These ones are so clean because it's been bone dry all summer so there's no mud around. Sometimes in the winter they do get a wee bit muddy :)
I love it when you leave me comments, it lets me know there are folk out there reading my ramblings! Thank you, I appreciate them loads and loads Laura x
very pretty....
ReplyDeleteI thought you'd like them :)

ReplyDeleteI must admit, that having the chickens is one of my greatest joys of the farm.
DeleteTotally beautiful. What a lovely shade of egg. Sometimes things don't have to taste better to BE better, do they? They just magically are.

You can get black araucanas too - but be warned, they're terribly broody!!

DeleteHow do you clean the eggs? [someone told me not to wash them as it does something to their 'shelf' life and length of time they keep]
