Drought well and truly broken
remember this? from way back in the summertime. See how brown the sliver of grass is at the bottom of the photo?
Well, I took this today, same tree (a branch is missing from near the middle) but look how green the grass is now.
that's what a few days of solid rain'll do!
Goodness, what a difference and I'm sure you don't mind the rain! I just got back from the UK where we had some lovely sunny days but record lows at night for May and even a frost or two.
ReplyDeleteSSsshhhh don't tell anyone as it makes me sound like not a real farmer, but I'm over it! I would like some cold crisp winter days now. :)
ReplyDeleteI see you had a lovely trip! xx
That's funny Laura - in the post with the cows, I was very nearly going to comment on the green-ness! But then I thought - no that's just how it is in NZ completely forgetting that you had been in drought. It does look lovely and green!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a difference rain makes. Enjoy the greenery.
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference!!
