Drought well and truly broken
remember this? from way back in the summertime. See how brown the sliver of grass is at the bottom of the photo?

Well, I took this today, same tree (a branch is missing from near the middle) but look how green the grass is now.


that's what a few days of solid rain'll do!

  1. Goodness, what a difference and I'm sure you don't mind the rain! I just got back from the UK where we had some lovely sunny days but record lows at night for May and even a frost or two.

  2. SSsshhhh don't tell anyone as it makes me sound like not a real farmer, but I'm over it! I would like some cold crisp winter days now. :)

    That's funny Laura - in the post with the cows, I was very nearly going to comment on the green-ness! But then I thought - no that's just how it is in NZ completely forgetting that you had been in drought. It does look lovely and green!
