Thank you

First of all I would like to thank Joanie for her lovely kind words. We got rather emotional reading them and it was lovely of her to take the time to write such a gorgeous letter. Secondly I would like to introduce her to my parents, as sadly I'm sure they would have a lot in common. They obviously have it the complete other way round but it's just the same really.

I really hope her daughter moves back to New Zealand as it really is the most beautiful country with so many opportunities. Oh and I wish my mum and dad would move here!

New Dog beds

 Lulah knew the pink one was hers!

We got the draft of the magazine article last night and it all looks lovely. All, that is, except the dogs' beds!! There's a photo of them lying on their beds ( well Bob and Brodie are - Lulah is lying around under the bed!) and they look cute, but the beds look right manky! Spend 2 weeks painting the house and tidying it so that it look like no one lives here and forget to even wash  the dog beds!! Anyway squat diddly I can do about that now, but it did spur me on to make them some new ones.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that there was something happening at the farm and I was cleaning and painting like a mad thing. Well, to Lloyd's delight and my terror we are being featured in "Life and Leisure" magazine. I love the magazine and looking at other people's houses, but the thought of having our own house and life in it scares me silly. However, it meant a lot to Lloyd, so with a bit of soft soap and bribery  gentle persuasion, I agreed to do it.

Honestly, I have found the whole thing terribly stressful, which is nothing to do with the people doing the article as they have been positively lovely. We spent a few hours last week with the lady who is writing the article and the last 2 days have been spent with the photographer. She let us see a lot of the photos she'd taken and she is amazing. The dogs are the true stars and the house does look pretty.

Now it's over we can trash the place again!! Oh, and I can relax for the first time on 2 weeks. ☺
