Sue, Bob was our first dog, we got him when I had just given up teaching due to stress so I put everything I had into looking after him. I took him absolutely everywhere with me and I suppose we just bonded. He loves his dad just as much though. It's not that he's more affectionate than the other two, quite the reverse actually. They are a lot more boisterous and Bob is very sensitive. I love them all but Bob is just special. :)
I don't know what we'd do without our two dogs. Bob is a cutie pie. I'm glad you have them. BTW, I retired from teaching also due to stress. I taught for 31 years.
T Bone steak for dinner :) we'll go to the B E A C H ( got to spell the word as he knows what it means) at the weekend. thanks everyone for all the doggy birthday wishes xx

What is it about this 'un that makes him so very special, Laura. I've never had more than one dog at a time. Is he more affectionate than the other?
