A host of golden...erm...Sunflowers ?

I planted my sunflowers really, really late, but they got lots of water as they're round the veggie garden, they have a lot of very lush leaves, are about 8ft tall but don't have absolutely gigantic flowers on them. They're beautiful though. I'll collect and dry the seeds once they get old so they aren't just a pretty face.

  6. SO gorgeous! Here, it's the deadest part of winter. Those sunflowers remind me that spring is right around the corner, and summer will be here again!

  7. I love sunflowers! My daughter's classroom a few years ago had some growing out the front by mistake, and the cockatoos would just come and rip them to shreds!

  8. Sunflowers are one of my favourite flowers ever and yours look beautiful Laura! Don't forget to give the heads to the chickens when they're all dry, they'll LOVE picking out the seeds! ;-) x
