I made a cake

I have never made a birthday cake before...ever.
I've made cup cake birthday cakes, but never a big cake. Well, since Lloyd is so lovely I made him a cake for his birthday tomorrow. It was actually quite fun. It's not the best cake in the world! It's a wee bit squint, but I am dead pleased with it. The sponge part is vanilla sponge, with vanilla icing in the middle, then it's got royal icing on the top and the blue thingies are butter icing - man, it's going to be super sweet!

I'm off to bed now! Lots to do tomorrow ( mostly cleaning the house for everyone coming) there is, however, a slight chance we might be going out on our friends boat...
