I took some photos of the wild flowers
Amazing poppys, which are very apt today....
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
- At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
- We will remember them.

ReplyDeleteI am so pleased that Remberance Day is so well remembered all over the world .. it is important that we do pause.
I sometimes worry that our generation may be the last to stop and pause as there are so few of the men left that fought for us.I am such a terrible sap that I well up even thinking about it.

ReplyDeleteMy children don't understand why we do it - but when we talk about how their great grandparents fought and how young they were - they try to. Lovely photos.
