Happy Mug!

Remember a few weeks ago I broke my happy mug? Or maybe not! I can't remember if I wrote about it. Well I had this gorgeous pink and cream striped Cornishware mug that Lloyd bought me as a present when I was tired, grumpy and fed up one day. It cheered me up no end so I've always called it my 'happy mug'  Well one morning before I went over to Scotland I reached up to the mug shelf and promptly dropped my happy mug, not only did it break but it also broke the lid of the gorgeous Cornishware tea caddy thing as well - it was not a good morning. I managed to glue the lid back together, but the poor mug was beyond repair. ( I think I'll plant something in it as it now has some 'natural drainage'!)

Well, when I got home from my trip, Lloyd had bought me a present to welcome me back, and guess what it was? A new Happy Mug.

Isn't it lovely. I use it every morning for either my tea or coffee depending on whether I'm in a coffee of tea mood. I love it.

This morning we had some of yesterdays soda bread, toasted. It was lovely, too.

  2. It is a cup isn't it! Happy cup didn't have the same ring to it as I'd got used to saying 'happy mug'!
I shall try to call it the happy cup! xxx
