How many blokes does it take to do a donkey's feet?
Answer - 3.
One to do them and 2 others to keep him company.
Rachel had had hers done already and Sheba was standing patiently having hers done. We get the farrier out every 12 weeks to do their feet, this keeps them in tip top condition.
I thought all the animals looked so lovely hanging out in the evening light. Cactus had just had his hooves done, and the alpacas were standing by for company.
Herbie and Stella have grown so much - Herbie is a total bruiser. He looks so like boy. Stella is tall and dainty, like a supermodel of alpacas.
Stella looking gorgeous
Cocoa looking not gorgeous! To be fair she was eating her dinner! She doesn't usually look like this!
Cocoa may not look gorgous, but my or my SOOOOOO cute!!

She is a cutie! And normally a lot prettier!
DeleteThat Stella is gorgeous! Cocoa is too.....in an I have personality kind of way. To be fair though, no one looks good when they're eating.

Stella is totally gorgeous - she's quite fawn like, and a wee bit timid!
DeleteGreat photo Laura, she looks like such a goofy one standing there smiling with her crooked teeth, gotta love it.....
ReplyDeleteher mouth was full of lucerne! I think she was very happy!
DeleteThey are completely adorable
ReplyDeleteThey really are, and sort of calming to have around the place, they're just so gentle.
Delete3 men sounds quite economical - I don't have donkeys now, but I KNOW how they can be. Great photo of Stella, but poor Cocoa looks like I would if you caught me eating my dinner. Which you won't, thankfully :-)
ReplyDeleteThankfully our donkeys are the most gentle of gentle! The farrier actually likes coming to do their feet cos they just stand there!
DeleteCocoa is funny! If she was a human she'd be getting you to delete that! And I love your new header.
ReplyDeleteI know bless! If someone posted a pic like that of me I'd not be a happy bunny! thanks!! I like it too - way more simple. :)
DeleteThos aplacas are so cute, makes you want to reach out and hug them!!!! Louise
ReplyDeletethey are very huggable!
Delete: ) Oh, thanks for the laugh. That last photo is just too awesome. And Stella certainly is beautiful!
ReplyDeletegosh, I know - poor old cocoa - it wasn't very fair really was it!

They are so cute! My OH has been eyeing up Alpacas for ages, and would love to have donkeys... you may have converted me!
ReplyDeleteI'm told Alpacas make really good "guard dogs" and are very loyal.
