Is it Winter yet? I'm never sure when it's supposed to start.

I was just sitting at the table eating my breakfast ~ toast with marmalade and Earl Grey tea when I realised that it might be the start of winter and this was what I was looking out at, with the french door open I may add.
How glorious is that?

I went to check the veggies
silverbeet, barotti beans and peas

I still have tomatoes ripening on the window sill

And remember the avocados we planted? Well in spite of the drought they seem to be doing well. They've grown right over the top of the shade cloth.

Beautiful.

  1. Well you are just having breakfast, and we are watching late night telly before going to bed. Eurovision is on, watched a bit of it but now watching stuff we had taped.

As always, lovely photographs and clearly your winters allow you to open your doors, we need thermals!

Hope your tea and toast is hitting the spot.

  2. It still funny for me to think that all our family and friends are going to bed, when we're already up for the next day!
Don't worry, there will be a time in the not too distant future that I'll have my uggs on! And I'll admit that we did have the fire on yesterday - it was right nice!!

June 1st is the official start to winter I know, but it sure doesn't seem like it here either (near Brisbane).
