Celebrating spring!

Remember a couple of days ago I mentioned I'd never been able to make a daisy chain before because of a lack of nails? Well I just took a break from painting and went out into the garden and made one! whoohoo!

I knew I stopped biting my nails for a reason.

 I am rather liking it.

and so is Brodie by the look on his happy wee face!

I took one of Bob too, but he looks totally unimpressed by the whole thing and actually a little cross with me!
Ah it's the little things that make us smile, is it not!

Blues coloured Thursdays

  1. Ha--this is adorable. Love that you took the time to make one. Always enjoy the pictures and posting with the dogs--nothing brightens a day like a doggie smile. :)

  5. Love the photo of Brodies nose. I'm a bear maker and I'm always looking for close up pictures of bears or dogs noses. Next time you see a wild Bear!!!!! in NZ. take a photo of his nose for me.

  10. I've never made a daisy chain before. Looks like a fun project. Since we are coming into the end of summer/fall season, guess I'll wait until next year. Love the photo of doggie, smiling I'm sure. LOL

  18. Hi Laura - Bob looks gorgeous, i dont know how you managed to keep them on him, our Airedale Arthur can barely sit for his photo, never mind a makeover! Happy Spring to you, were moving into Autumn and growing season feels a long way off now!

  19. well Brodie is a wee star and puts up with all kinds of nonsense! Tallulah on the other hand didn't stay still for one second, she just hit the daisy chain with her paws! And I really should post the pic of Bob as he looked SO pissed off!@
