This week’s prompt:
Abundance
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Abundance: from the word Abundant meaning more than enough: amply sufficient
Right now there is one very obvious subject matter for Abundance.
I have 9 chickens. Each day we're getting 8 eggs.
I love it!
Don't you love all the colours.
I do love the colors! I'm sure you are thinking of many dishes to use up the eggs each day!! My brother's chickens are "slowing" up a bit, so we are not getting many from them right now. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought that might just be the case!
ReplyDeleteNow all you need is a few blue ones in the mix!
ReplyDeleteWe have nine chickens also, plus 24 baby chicks that we just added. I love the colors and the textures of all the eggs. Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove all the tones!
One can find the most beautiful colors in the simplest things.
ReplyDeleteHope you are making those lovely egg holders at a rapid rate of knots!
ReplyDeleteEgg heaven!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are fantastic! We have yet to get our own hens, but its definitely something we plan to do in the spring :)
ReplyDelete~*I would love to get some chickens..I used to have them when I was young..every morning before school I had to crawl into their tiny coop and get the eggs..i used to gripe about it back then..lol..but now I would be sure to get a bigger coop!! ;)Rachel~*
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore my chickens. Charlotte you are right I need some blue ones in the mix, do any of yours lay blue eggs?? :)
ReplyDeletewhat a perfect prompt! the colours are lovely, I wish I had chickens but we have foxes, I love this shot
ReplyDeleteOh, definitely a good shot for expressing the meaning of "abundance" !!
ReplyDeleteSuch subtle variations going on - just lovely to look at. Cherry XXX
ReplyDeletethe colors are amazing!! What a beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteLove the close up you did on this prompt! My second abundance thought along the same line as yours-- a photo I took recently at a bridal shower-- of m-n-ms candy... a bowl of them, focusing in on a close up-- they had a bride and groom's picture on them. very cute.
ReplyDeleteyou are so very lucky to have that abundance so close. Love the simplicity of the photo thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThere's not much more satisfying than using eggs from your own chickens! Even more than home-grown veg, I think. Lovely - yum!
