♪ ♫ ♩ ♬ Oh Christmas tree ♪ ♫ ♩ ♬

I put up the tree and some decorations today. It felt completely un-christmassy as it was so unbelievably humid! But I love all the decorations. Most of my decorations are old glass ones I bought eons ago on a trip to London. I think I was about 20 or something! I've also got lots of white feathers. This year I did go to town and get some silver tinsel though. It'll look more festive when I wrap Lloyd's presents and put them under the tree.

I do love putting up the tree, whatever the temperature!

  1. Decorating does always put one more in the Christmas spirit. We are having cold weather for a change, but Christmas day it is supposed to be a high of 76.

Your decorations are lovely and I wish you a wonderful Christmas season.

  2. We bought our tree on Friday, and Saturday I put on the lights. Yesterday,I decorated it.Here in NH we usually have snow by now,and up north in the mountains they do,but here we don't. We did have a bit of ice Sunday morning, but then we had a huge rainstorm, which melted everything. Now it's warm out-50 degrees-which for us this time of year is balmy.
    Your tree is pretty!

  3. I would love to spend Christmas someplace warm for a change just to see what it would be like. The U.S. is having really cold weather this December.

Your tree looks lovely, and I would enjoy a warm Christmas. Oklahoma gets weird weather all year long. One day hot, one day cold. One year we shopped for presents in our shorts and sandals, last year we were digging out of 13" of snow on Christmas eve. This year is a toss up as usual, but I'd much prefer sitting outside in the sunshine like you do, toasting Santa with a glass of iced tea than with hot cocoa!

    have a good week!

  6. I think we are going to content ourselves with a manuka tree out at our camping spot this year. Yours looks lovely.

  7. it's just a fake one. Each year I just take the decorations off it but leave it up and store it in the woolshed! Then it's just a case of carrying it into the house already up!!
