It's all go!

I've been so busy the last few days. We're having a new bathroom put in. We've been here for almost 6 years now and for...well... almost 6 years, Lloyd has really disliked our bathroom! I thought it was ok, actually, but as it neared the time to get the new one I couldn't wait to see the back of it either!
Anyway, last night the plumber took out the old fittings and today the builders demolished it! We're starting again from scratch. It's a little frightening!
We are very lucky, though, as we can move down to stay in  The Acorn as we are going to be bathroomless for a while - argh!!
Anyway, yesterday it looked like this - kind of old.

Today it looks like this!! The whole room is like this.
Now I am not one of these people that thrives on house renovations, and it doesn't matter how wonderful the builders are - and ours are... totally wonderful and neat and tidy and just plain, lovely guys, but I find this stressful. Migraine inducing stressful. Roll on x amount of weeks! I say 'x' amount as we have no real clue how long it's going to take!

  1. Exciting! We did our bathroom about 7 years ago (that long?!) when we first moved in where we are now. I had to go and shower at the local gym for a few days though, we had nowhere to move out to. Can't wait to see it when it's done!
