These are Sudras, a long, thin, hot, Indonesian chilli. I grew them for the first time this year and they've been a huge success. Incredibly prolific, they have a great flavour, dry brilliantly and they're still growing and producing! These were a bunch that Lloyd picked a wee while ago and put in the fruit bowl. He had planned to make something with them, but we have been so incredibly busy they were just left there. Didn't matter, though, as they've begun to dry out beautifully. So I threaded them up and hung them in the larder/pantry to dry further. They'll last for ages like this.
Mmmm now what should he do with them?
how good do they look, I bet they tast great also. Think of all those hot meals you can make on a cold winters night.
