Waimate North A&P show

One of my yearly highlights was today. But before that I had the benefit of having a Milli to stay, a Milli gets up at 6am to feed all the dogs, cats, chickens and then takes the dogs out to play. In the afternoon the Milli weeds the garden with you. Blooming brilliant. I suggest everyone gets one.

We headed off to the show, stopping in on the way to Karen and Larrys's for the lovely brunch they always do on show day.
Then went to the show and just wandered around all day.

Some of the highlights

They have a portable milking area for all the cows that are on show

There was a little petting zoo which is really for children, but the adults enjoyed it too

More super photos; as ever it's just great seeing what's happening with you and Lloyd--I don't feel quite as far away when looking at your lives! Here, at present, it's most un-photogenic! It's pouring down, grey and chilly-and gloomy. You know, a typically British late-autumn day. Having said all that we have had some bright sunny weather this week, so I should not complain! On Thursday our walking group went for a shortish walk round one of our local reservoirs (everywhere else is too muddy for anything else at present), the sky and sun were perfect, no wind, and the reflections were stunning. So I really must get down to putting these snaps on line for you to see; I'm not taking any today though!
We both send fondest love to you and Lloyd, look after yourselves, and hope everything is going VERY well 4u!! XXXXXXX P and A/Mum and Dad.
