Balls.
Lloyd bought these brilliant 'light up' balls for the dogs so he can play in the dark. They're the same size as a tennis ball and are supposed to be impossible to destroy. ( we shall see...) The dogs were very taken with them, as was Lloyd.

I just changed the cats' bed. The three of them all share a big cushion, Kopi couldn't wait to try it out. She looks incredibly grumpy here but in fact she is the most gentle of cats and pretty timid and she's never really learned to clean her nose!

Tonight we are having a stir fry with some of our sprouting things - they have been a very worthwhile experiment!

  3. That's interesting, someone once told me that all ginger cats were male and that female gingers were always tortoiseshell. Obviously that's a load of rubbish.

  5. I think female ginger cats are less common, but there seem to be an abundance of them at our vets :) I think male torties are sterile? I had a tortie till recently - she reached the ripe old age of 24.

  6. Laura, I do remember when Taggart was filmed at your place.

I am now having problems with blogger loading comments, not sure what is going on, hence why responding directly on your blog!

Like the dog balls and also your cat looks lovely and not at all grumpy.

  8. Oh, I too hope it does not self destruct! I will try what you are doing, good idea.

Regarding back up - apparently you go to Firefox and download it all! Anders just looked it up and I will be doing that as I would be really really p...ed off if I lost everything I have put up!

Let me know how you get on.

  11. Your cat is so adorable! I would love to know if those balls for your dogs are truly indestructable. Having 3 dogs of our own we spend a small fortune on tennis balls! LOL Have a great afternoon!

  12. Jill, I'll let you know how we get on with them. We have the MOST destructive dogs where tennis balls are concerned so I hope these last!
